We are already over the January halfway mark – and many have survived their first full week back at work (and the start of the new school year!).
The year again started at a frenetic pace (not that our teams were ever any less busy over the holiday period). Our exceptionally high activity levels over the festive season certainly attest to that.
From 13 December 2025 to 15 January 2026, our teams were involved in 18 cases of successful arrests or the recovery of stolen goods across our footprint. These successes led to the apprehension of no less than 31
suspects.

The Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court sentenced Chrispen Chikwera (49) to 15 years of direct imprisonment for tampering with essential infrastructure, an offence committed on 24 July 2024.
