Security is all about prevention and detection. In order for homes and offices to be secure, the primary priority is prevention. Beagle Watch has a range of products which are aimed at early detection. In so doing, intruders are detected prior to them reaching the premises which not only allows for the occupants to be aware of an impending attack, but also allows our armed response officers to respond before access is gained into the premises. These technologies are able to be linked to existing security systems too. If you need any further information, please call so that we can advise you on the best solution for your needs

Before testing your alarm system:
|
| 1. |
You would be required to phone your armed response company's control center and advise them that you will be performing a system test. |
| 2. |
The testing of your alarm system on average should not be longer than approximately 30 minutes, depending on the size of the system. You can then ask the control room operator to place the system on a test for a certain period of time.
|
| |
Only once they are aware that you will be testing your alarm system, can you begin the test.
|
| 1. |
Make sure that you have the correct user code.
You have to secure the system or in other words get the ready light in order to arm the system. |
| 2. |
If there is no ready light on, check to see if the zone lights are being displayed.
If they are on, check the zone listing which will then be a specific part of the alarm system. Investigate the zone area for an open door or movement in the zone. |
| 3. |
There could be a dozen other faults on the system that could inhibit you from arming it. So always check for the basic things first. |
| 4. |
If this is caused by another problem, performing the bypass procedure can still arm the system. |
| 5. |
After securing the system you can arm the system by pressing the relevant arming key or the user code if required. |
| 6. |
Once the system is armed, leave the protected areas inside the house and outside.
Wait for approximately 3 minutes after the system is armed (arming of the system depends on exit delay time only and may vary from system to system)
|
| 7. |
After a period of 3 minutes enter the house-do not disarm the system-instead, activate the alarm by walking into the protected areas activating the door guards.
|
| 8. |
Once you have violated all zone (except panic's) disarm the alarm system by entering a valid user code and pressing the relevant keys.
|
| 9. |
Now you alarm keypad will display all of the activated zones. This should then confirm that all of the equipment is fully functional. If not advise the installer or company so that it could be rectified (a possible weakness in the system) |
| 10. |
Between tests you should wait for about 5 minutes. This would be a sufficient time for the radio transmitter to complete the sending of signals. |
| 11. |
In order to make sure that your system is fully functional, all panics should be tested.
